  3. Process and download the converted file.

What you should know

Up to 15 MB and 16 megapixels per image; 10 images and 50 MB per batch. JPG eliminates transparency on white background. Animated images are not supported. WebP depends on the browser encoder.

Does PNG preserve transparency?

Yes. PNG and WebP preserve the alpha channel; JPG does not allow transparency. The conversion re-encodes the pixels.
